A 10KM COASTAL TRAIL
Location: Trail runs between West Lawrencetown Road and Causeway Road in the community of Lawrencetown, outside Halifax on Nova Scotia’s eastern shore.
Trail Description: Our trail is a 10km crusher dust
linear trail on a former rail bed. It’s a coastal greenway that passes through the Lawrencetown Cole Harbour Park system with an experience of salt marshes, headland bluffs, beaches and woodland.
Lawrencetown Beach is at the halfway point on the trail. Our trail is part of the Trans Canada Trail and the Halifax active transportation network. Please note horses and motorized use are prohibited.
Adjacent Trails: Salt Marsh Trail flows into the west
end of Atlantic View Trail; Blueberry Run Trail flows
into the east end of Atlantic View Trail.
The Atlantic View Trail Association is a volunteer based organization and is interested in hearing from anyone who
may like to become involved in the group.
