Team Canada will face off against Team Chile from September 16-18 in the Davis Cup World Group play-off between Canada and Chile.Canada is trying to retain its position in the elite World Group, the highest level of Davis Cup play,  for a sixth straight year.

The matches will be played across three days at Scotiabank Centre in Halifax on indoor hard courts. Davis Cup is returning to Halifax for the first time since 2014, when Canada played Colombia in September of that year and scored a 3-2 victory in the World Group play-offs.
