The Mooseheads have acquired a first round pick in 2017, second round pick in 2017 and a fourth round pick in 2018 from the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in exchange for Captain Timo Meier .
The San Jose Sharks prospect was selected ninth overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft after scoring 90 points with Halifax last season. In 150 regular season games with the Mooseheads Meier produced 160 points while adding another 26 points in 26 career playoff games.
General Manager Cam Russell has set the team up with plenty of selections for the coming years at the QMJHL Entry Draft.
