The largest passenger plane in the world had to make an emergency stop in Halifax this morning for a medical emergency.
Just before midnight, an Airbus A380 operated by Lufthansa landed at Halifax Stanfield International Airport. The flight left Houston Sunday evening on its way to Frankfurt.
A passenger was taken to hospital in Halifax but it's not clear what their condition is.
After the passenger was removed from the plane, the aircraft left for Frankfurt at around 2:30 a.m.
