Nocturne: Art at Night

Nocturne: Art at Night, is a completely free annual event that showcases and celebrates the visual arts scene in Halifax and downtown Dartmouth, linked by the ferry. Nocturne, designed and planned by volunteers, is an opportunity for everyone to experience the art of Halifax in a whole new light.

The festival is intended for people of all ages and all backgrounds. Whether you are a long time art enthusiast or just out to enjoy the evening, Nocturne will have something you can enjoy. 

Our website contains all the programming – you can access it from your computer or browse through our mobile accessible website from your favourite device. Our printed program guide will be released in The Coast weekly issue leading up to October 17, 2015. Make sure you grab your copy and bring it along!

Don’t forget you can take the bus to the core or ride your bike.  The event is walkable and a free bus shuttle is available. Check out the bus route on Google Maps.
