Kings District RCMP say fatal crash happened early Sunday morning

A 35-year-old Halifax man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in the early hours of Sunday in Berwick, N.S.

RCMP say two people were in a car travelling eastbound on Highway 101 when the vehicle swerved onto the right shoulder, rolled and landed in a ditch between exits 14 and 15.

The driver was killed in the crash, while the passenger was taken to hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
