Police say they arrested a 19-year-old man after a fatal boating incident in Cumberland County on Tuesday night.

Emergency crews were called at around 10:40 p.m. to a report that a person had been ejected from a boat, an RCMP news release said Thursday.

Officers learned five people had been aboard a boat that ran aground near Oak Island off the shore of Wallace Bay, N.S., the release said.
