Fans of the Halifax Mooseheads who turned out Friday night to see who the team selected with the third overall pick of the QMJHL draft went home empty-handed.

That's because the team traded away the pick, along with two current players and a second-round draft pick next year, for high-scoring forward Mateo Nobert of the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada.
