The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents of the following updates to municipal services as well as supports to those impacted by the fires.
Evacuation area update
The evacuation order has been lifted for the following area:
Access to the area is now available via Pockwock Road. The following roadways are not accessible and residents cannot return to properties on the streets in the: Bonsai Drive, Cypress Court and Yew Street.
As soon as it is safe to do so, Nova Scotia Power will reconnect power to these communities. The power will be restored later this evening.
