CBC NewsAndrew LamSome who work in or study the food and agriculture sector are raising concerns after it was recently revealed the Nova Scotia government quietly abandoned its plan to develop a local food strategy.
The Food and Beverage Strategy was aimed at improving access to and increasing production of healthy local food. A round of public consultation was done for the initiative in 2022.
