Lunenburg RCMP are investigating after two people were found dead Sunday in a home in Mahone Bay, N.S.

A news release said police responded to a request for a well-being check at a home on Long Hill Road just after 1 p.m.

Officers found the remains of two adults at the residence. The persons were known to each other, the release said.

According to the release, the deaths are being treated as suspicious and an investigation has begun.

There is no indication that there is any risk to the public…
