Police were called to reports of gunshots early Sunday
CBC NewsHalifax police are now calling the death of a man in Dartmouth early Sunday a homicide.
Police responded to multiple reports of gunshots being fired near Lahey Road and Clarence Street just before 3 a.m.
When they arrived, they found two people — a 30-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman — with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to hospital.
The woman's injuries were said to be non-life-threatening, but the man was later pronounced dead.
