Long-term care workers at St. Vincent's Nursing Home in Halifax have voted to ratify a tentative agreement with the province, paving the way for an end to an eight-week strike impacting 36 long-term care homes.

On Sunday, the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), which represents about 3,600 striking workers across Nova Scotia, announced a tentative agreement had been reached.
