The price of gasoline in the Halifax area dropped 17.4 cents
CBC NewsNova Scotians got some relief at the gas pumps Tuesday as the consumer carbon tax ended.
The price of regular gasoline dropped 17.4 cents to 146.5 per litre in the Halifax area. The price of diesel dropped 22.1 cents to 161.2 per litres.
The price at the pump varies slightly depending on where you are in the province.
As well, the province's HST dropped from 15 per cent to 14 per cent on Tuesday.
