Space Archeologist Sarah Parcak has returned to the Codroy Valley in Southwestern Newfoundland to follow up on her discovery last year of a possible Viking site. (see Did The Vikings Settle in the Gulf of St. Lawrence?)
Parcak's team includes a number of key specialists who hope to determine conclusively that the site is indeed Viking. For more see Archeologist returns to Codroy Valley .
In the meantime, local amateur sleuth Wayne MacIsaac is convinced that there are other locations near the Point Rosie find which should be explored. He's been in touch with Parcak so we'll see if anything comes of it. Here's Wayne making his case:
